About Us
Our founder, Roger Sambrano Sr, began our family owned and operated business with a mission to steward his family and his community. With a previous career in the oil fields, he understood the value of hard work. He also knew the stress that comes with such a turbulent industry.
As he provided for his family, he couldn’t help but feel that there was a better solution to their situation. In an effort to spend more time at home with his family, he began to seek a business opportunity. It was in 2017 that he decided to pursue his other skills.
Mr. Sambrano saw that there was a need in the community for high quality lawn care. So starting with a few tools and a basic business model, he began helping his neighbors with their lawn needs. More and more residents of Palestine began noticing Mr. Sambrano’s work, and his client roster slowly began to fill.
As he was helping people with their yards, his business grew, and his family was blessed. That’s where we got our name– Blessed By The Yard.
As he saw all of the opportunities that lay ahead, he took a leap of faith to pursue the dream that God put on his heart. With prayer, and support from his family, he decided to step into this new role as full-time business owner.
When asked what the mission is behind Blessed By The Yard, Mr. Sambrano states, “When God guides, He will provide.” This message gives us the strength to move forward as a team.
With each decision we make, we calculate the risk, assess the opportunity, and pray for guidance. Our team is very intentional about how we do business. This is how we provide the best service possible for you.
Paying It Forward
Blessed By The Yard is proud to pay it forward. We’ve worked with team members where life has dealt them a bad hand. When no one else would take them in, we gave them good work to do.
Mr. Sambrano and our team poured love into their lives. We taught them about what God thinks about them, and not to worry about what other people think or say. Mrs. Sambrano would bring them into their home and feed them a hot meal, encouraging them to stay on the right path.
Our goal as a family business is to not only spread seed and fertilizer on lawns to make them grow– but also to spread God's non judgemental love into each person we come across so that they can bloom and grow, too. The same way God has done for us as His imperfect people.
